Faces!

Here are some people pictures :) I love to take pictures of people. These are some really fun kids that I have come into contact with in the last few months :)

MarKet FuN!

We went to a really fun market the other day. The women at this part of the market are considered by some "the best price hagglers in the city" - and let me tell you - they are good!! We went two different days. On the first day we went, I bought a few things and haggled with a woman for a while and still didn't get the price I wanted. We came back a few days later and when she saw me, she remembered me and picked up the exact item we had been discussing a few days before and gave me the exact same price that we had discussed a few days before. (Now, that takes talent because they see tons of people every day and they give different prices to different people, so she was really good). She wouldn't budge on the price, so I moved on... it was really fun :)

Keeping Warm

It's been pretty cold lately. We were in the park the other day and saw that the statues of the gods had been given shawls in order to keep warm. I thought it was interesting.

TrOpiCaL SmOoThiE!!!

We have been in the capital city the last two weeks to help out our friends that are having a baby and we've done some shopping while we've been here... believe it or not, we found a TROPICAL SMOOTHIE!! For those of you that don't know, it's my absolute favorite place! It was definitely something that I needed that day :) How fun is that!! You can even get a cup of Tropical Smoothie Corn here :)

ThaiLaNd!

hey! We just got back from Thailand :) We have to leave the country we're in every 6 months - so we get to go to Thailand! It was great! It was definitely a much needed break. We saw many interesting things. This first picture is at McDonalds - even Ronald is culturally appropriate here :) Everything here is written in Thai - it is a cool-looking language! It looked really cool on the Coke cans and Sprite cans and Pepsi cans. . . There are 7-Elevens all over Thailand! They are everwhere! It was awesome! We got to see some really cool things and sights while we were there. One day we rented scooters and rode all around Chiang Mai. It was fun! (It was expecially fun to be able to drive on the left side of the road) :) We also got to hang out with some fun friends while we were there. It was great! The Tha Phae Gate was really neat. There was a moat and this gate that went around the enitre old part of the city. It was really cool. We got to climb up on top of it and see a lot of thin
