Funny for Fun

So I have a bunch of funny pics that I've been meaning to post... so I thought I'd do so today :) This pic below cracks me up... right above this McDonalds is "The Wellness Store" - it cracks me up every time I see it :)
In the pic below you can see the eggs that we normally buy... here there are pretty much two types of eggs you can buy... the cheap ones that most people buy (and you tell them how many you want and they put them in a plastic bag for you - so you have to be careful) and these eggs... we actually like the taste of these better and the stamp on them says "guaranteed against bird flu" so we figured they were good eggs to pick.... But what cracks me up is that on the box of eggs it says that they are "Near Organic"... Not sure what that means - I thought things were either organic or not... Maybe not, but it still makes me laugh :)
We got this tomato the other day... it's kinda cute :)
I've been meaning to post this pic (below) for a while - I like how bathroom signs are different in different countries. My friend Deanna wrote a post recently about her trip to Italy and their bathroom door signs had bows on them (on the head for girls and neck for boys)... the ones here are fun too :) The girls on this sign wears a Sari :)
You may not think this pic below is funny... but to me, there's just something funny about a horse carrying a cart full of wheels... ok, so I think it's funny :)
So, last, but not least.... this guy has quite the spare tire :) haha!

HA!! Don't you love living in a foreign country?! I don't know what's funnier - the way the tomato looks or the fact that you took a picture of it!

I like how the eggs are delivered from "the farm..." WHAT farm? THE farm? we're supposed to know what that means? :)

when my sister (who doesn't speak german) was in germany, she commented that Damen (whch means "ladies") sure looks a lot like it would mean da MEN. And Herren (which means "gentlemen") has a HER in it. Very misleading, in her book. I think all over the world, women should wear saris on toilet signs. It would prevent a lot of confusion!

Great post!!! I love your photos - you always find such humorous things. Thanks for the sari photos too - that's cool. Do they refrigerate eggs there? Cause they don't here and it bothers me everytime I go to buy eggs off a shelf in the middle of the store.

I had so many great pics like this when we lived in China. :)

You wrote me some questions on a comment on my blog, and I'd be happy to dialog with you about it but in order to be more open, we're gonna have to pull it back to e-mail. Feel free to e-mail me and we'll get the conversation rolling. makinghome@pobox.com

Campa Cola & Exploring :)

Today we had some things to do in the Central part of our city, so while we were there, we decided to take on some adventures :) Adventure #1 - the underground market. This market is pretty crazy. It's actually underground and has electronics & clothes mostly. They sell things pretty cheap, so it's an interesting place to go. Today we got an 64 Gig flash drive/pen drive for about $5. Crazy hunh? Here's Adam and Aashini in one of the stores. They're all REALLY small stores - about 10x10 feet I would guess (but I'm really bad at guessing that sort of stuff :)) We go here a lot to get things, so I guess it's not a new adventure, but an adventure nonetheless. Before the next part of our adventure (the real part of our adventure) we stopped for lunch. Aashini will always eat at McDonalds, so that's where we went :) They just started selling chicken nuggets here at McDonalds, so it's super easy to get her to eat there :) This McDonald's had high chair

Starbucks!

Starbucks opened in our city last night!!  I'm not a huge coffee drinker... but I was excited about the opening!!  (I think I like Starbucks because of all the green! haha!... Aashini and Diya think the mermaid on the logo looks like me... haha! Maybe it's the weird wavy hair :)... not sure :) ) Anyway, we got there and the line was SUPER long!  The wait time was about 45 minutes!!!  There were so many people there!!!  I tried to get a pic of all the people... (that's why this picture is at an annoying angle... I was trying to get it all in in between the columns :))    Here's Aashini doing a jumping picture!!  The girls tried to do a jumping picture :) haha!  haha!  They had a few spills along the way :)  I never got them both jumping :)  Stuff for sale....  OK, one more because I think they are cute :) haha!  People waiting in line :) Some friends that made it inside! :)  We decided not to wait in line... So we'll
