DONUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So last night we took Aashini to the doctor for a check-up, so we decided to walk to the mall for dinner :) We had some AWESOME Turkish food! We had a great time hanging out and chilling for dinner :) The exciting thing was that when we went upstairs we saw that our FAVORITE donut shop had opened up in this mall!!!! The closest one before was an hour away! It's a fun treat to have here and there ;) We bought a dozen of them :) (one of them even has an Oreo topping!)They have some really yummy flavors... but they also have some weird flavors too!!!
Take this one for example... the "It's Greek to Me" Donut!
It says: "Creamy cheese sprinkled with Italian herbs and topped with olives - a taste of the Mediterranean" haha! ON A DONUT!
Then there's the "Mama Mia" Donut! haha! The ingredients are: "A sprinkle of Italian herbs and sauteed garlic on oodles of cheese - just like how mama makes it" haha! Does YOUR mama put cheese and garlic on a donut??

Hi! I am Jana, Rachel's mom! You posted on my blog, SaudiStitcher, and I finally got around to finding YOUR blog so I can post back! LOL!
WHERE in South Asia are you?! I saw the camels (plenty of those around here too!) and wondered. As for donuts! We have two House of Donut's here (really Dunkin Donuts!) and I am able to get my Apple Fritter fix once in a while. BUT the best thing is that when I was coming back from Jeddah last time(at least 3 months ago! It is 3 hours away) I SAW a KRISPY KREME going in on the street we were driving on! I can't WAIT to get back there and get some! And right next door was a QUIZNOS! It's really nice when something you love and recognize comes along, isn't it? Your baby is very cute! Do you know Suzy Bomgardner? She's a close friend of Rachels (and Chris, too, along with her husband, Tim) Anyway. She has a baby boy named Oscar. He, too, is a real cutie! You can see him via a link on Rachel and Chris' blog. Enjoy the donuts! Mama Mia!

First off - I just got back from the gym! I have to walk past the donut shop both there and back and its torture! I can't believe I have to look at this! Blah!!!

Those donuts remind me of some of the stuff we saw in Japan. They actually had a curry donut, which I bit into once thinking it was something else, on man - NASTY!

"Just like Momma!" ha-ha!

The Greek one sounds gross, but I would totally try the Italian one! Maybe that's just the pregnancy cravings talking though. :)

I can't believe they opened a donut shop there!! All these cool things now that we're gone!

I like that plaid one in the top picture. I think I would eat it just because I like plaid.

These look so yummy- well the ones you picked out anyways!! I think I feel a craving coming in the near future, as long as there are no olives or garlic involved! I'll save that for my pasta! :-)

Campa Cola & Exploring :)

Today we had some things to do in the Central part of our city, so while we were there, we decided to take on some adventures :) Adventure #1 - the underground market. This market is pretty crazy. It's actually underground and has electronics & clothes mostly. They sell things pretty cheap, so it's an interesting place to go. Today we got an 64 Gig flash drive/pen drive for about $5. Crazy hunh? Here's Adam and Aashini in one of the stores. They're all REALLY small stores - about 10x10 feet I would guess (but I'm really bad at guessing that sort of stuff :)) We go here a lot to get things, so I guess it's not a new adventure, but an adventure nonetheless. Before the next part of our adventure (the real part of our adventure) we stopped for lunch. Aashini will always eat at McDonalds, so that's where we went :) They just started selling chicken nuggets here at McDonalds, so it's super easy to get her to eat there :) This McDonald's had high chair

Starbucks!

Starbucks opened in our city last night!!  I'm not a huge coffee drinker... but I was excited about the opening!!  (I think I like Starbucks because of all the green! haha!... Aashini and Diya think the mermaid on the logo looks like me... haha! Maybe it's the weird wavy hair :)... not sure :) ) Anyway, we got there and the line was SUPER long!  The wait time was about 45 minutes!!!  There were so many people there!!!  I tried to get a pic of all the people... (that's why this picture is at an annoying angle... I was trying to get it all in in between the columns :))    Here's Aashini doing a jumping picture!!  The girls tried to do a jumping picture :) haha!  haha!  They had a few spills along the way :)  I never got them both jumping :)  Stuff for sale....  OK, one more because I think they are cute :) haha!  People waiting in line :) Some friends that made it inside! :)  We decided not to wait in line... So we'll

Funny Things - Age Appropriate?
