Here are a few random pics from this past week :) This little boy is living at the construction site next door - his mom is working at it. He's really cute :) We had House Meeting at our house this week. We told a story from the Book and decided to act it out with Aashini's puppets so that it could help us learn it better :) Aashini thought it was so cool! She jumped up on the "puppet stage" and went crazy over the puppets :) Afterwards we played a little Wii... When people play Wii, you can get some pretty fun pictures :) Another Wii picture :) This time of year there are these beautiful yellow flower trees blooming! They are so cool!!!

We're back from our vacation and here in Bangkok waiting for our flight tonight to head back to South Asia. We vacationed an hour outside of Hua Hin in a city called Prachaubkrikhan (I'm not quite sure how to pronounce that) :) haha! So, the 'Seasoned Travelers' that we are, we decided to try to get there the way the locals go (and pay the local prices)... It worked out good! We took this local bus and paid about $5 each to Hua Hin and then paid for a Tuk Tuk to take us the rest of the way. So, instead of paying over $100 to get there, we paid about $35 - nice hunh? The Tuk Tuk (rickshaw) ride was so nice! Aashini loved it (as seen on her face below) :) The scenery was rockin! We saw tons of mountains, pineapple plantations and coconut trees! Look how bumpy these mountains are! One thing that was really weird... we were driving in the middle of nowhere and all you could see were small pinapple plants and other trees - then, all of a sudden - this statue came o...

So, a few days ago, we went around the Old part of the city with our friends the Highs. They know all sorts of cool places to go and see in that area, so it was fun :) They had one of those "Flat Stanleys" so they were taking some fun pictures with him as they went :) I caught this guy picking his nose :) haha! Here's Adam with Aashini in the depths of the old part of the city :) I thought this monkey was making a HILARIOUS face :) haha! We saw some really fancy decorated temples. It was really interesting and fun :) And... at the end of the day Aashini had her first Metro ride :)

Yesterday the Kumars came to visit us :) If you're new to my blog... the Kumars are the family that we lived with for our first year here in M-town. They've been really wanting to come see Aashini, so they drove 3 hours to come and visit us :) We hung out and chatted, ate and had fun :) And, of course played some fooseball :) ( I still can't remember how to spell it) And of course they came to see Aashini It was sooo great to see them :) And yet another picture... Aashini really liked her aunt Mona :)

Before I came here I didn't think it would get very cold here.... It can get up to 135 degrees in the summer, so there's no way it can get cold! Well, I was wrong... for a Florida girl, it can get pretty cold here :) During the day right now it can get up to 65 or 70 degrees but at night it's been about 40 degrees... So, that may not sound like it's that cold... and outside it feels great! - but inside it can be really cold! Our houses don't have any insulation (only concrete/brick walls) and the floors are made of marble.... and that can make for a chilly house! Aashini LOVES to be warm! We have a little space heater that can heat up a room really well, and we usually turn it on at night to heat up the room before we go to bed.... Well, ever since we've taken Aashini home from the hospital, she has HATED diaper changes... she will scream and cry through them! Well, a couple of weeks ago, we were changing her diaper and she got the whole changing area on our p...
