 During the Diwali holidays, the kiddos had off almost a week of school.  So, us and some of our friends went on a getaway!  We went just a little outside of the city to another state and stayed at a fun resort.   Look at the view from our room!  Fun hunh?  Aashini and Diya got to play a lot with their buddies Sanjana and Sandeep :)  The kiddos had a great time on the outside play area :)  The boys spent most of their time playing sports! haha!  They played Badminton (pictured below), Tennis, Water Polo and Cricket at any chance they got! :)  They played ALL day long! haha!  The hotel also had an indoor play area.  They kids had a lot of fun at that one too :)  It had a crazy slide that was super steep and fast!  They usually ended up sliding across the floor  a few feet after they slid off :) haha!  We all tried the slide too :) haha!  There were fountains and water ever...

Last week we went with our friends to a local water park to have fun together and to beat the heat :)  It was a lot of fun :) This park was really fun.  I knew of a couple in this area, but didn't know about this one.  There were a lot of slides and it was fun! :) I took Aashini down one of the slides and she was really mad at me because I let her face get in the water :)   Adam and Vijay going down a slide together :) Diya and Vijay :)  This picture cracks me up :) This one too :) haha! This is the "kiddie" area of the park... it had 3 slides and was really fun :) We stopped halfway through and had some lunch :) We had a great view of the "Rain Dance" from our lunch table :) Eating Lunch :) They had extra entertainment there :)  There was a mime that was running around the park :)  Diya thought he was hilarious! :) Something different than America...  I posted some pictures on Facebook, but thought I'd do a little post on our friend Vijay's Wedding Reception :)   Vijay and Kitling got married in Hong Kong (Kitling is from there), so they had their reception in our city.  This is the happy couple :)  Vijay was full of smiles all night :)  This is Vijay and his brothers and Dad.  This picture cracks me up :)  Dancing fun!  Half-way through she changed into "South Asian Wear" :) She looked great!  Congrats Vijay and Kitling!!

 We spent most of our time in the city of Kovlum.  It was a GREAT vacation spot!!! It was beautiful and relaxing!  It was a definite beach town!  We really loved it and plan on going back sometime!! One of our favorite restaurants was "Area 51" :)  We ate there a couple of times ;)  Adam & Keith :)  I saw these guys walking down the street one day... it kinda cracked me up to see 3 guys in matching suits walking down the street in a very beachy area :) haha!  After leaving Area 51 it made me think of Men in Black :)  We stayed at this AWESOME resort!!  It had 3 pools... We actually never swam in this one but it's the only one I got a pic of :) haha!  I have pics of us IN the other pool though (more pics to come).  This pool had a restaurant in it... you could eat in the pool!
