 Starbucks opened in our city last night!!  I'm not a huge coffee drinker... but I was excited about the opening!!  (I think I like Starbucks because of all the green! haha!... Aashini and Diya think the mermaid on the logo looks like me... haha! Maybe it's the weird wavy hair :)... not sure :) ) Anyway, we got there and the line was SUPER long!  The wait time was about 45 minutes!!!  There were so many people there!!!  I tried to get a pic of all the people... (that's why this picture is at an annoying angle... I was trying to get it all in in between the columns :))    Here's Aashini doing a jumping picture!!  The girls tried to do a jumping picture :) haha!  haha!  They had a few spills along the way :)  I never got them both jumping :)  Stuff for sale....  OK, one more because I think they are cute :) haha!  People waiting in line :) Some friends that made it insid...

Today Emily & I went to get our noses pierced. This was actually my third time getting my nose pierced - haha ! Long story... but we went to the store to get it pierced (same guy who pierced mine the other two times) :) Emily decided to go first... It's a little different to get your nose pierced here than in America. They don't have piercing guns... they just use the nose ring and some pliers :) I think I look silly... haha ! OK, and here's the final product (no, I'm not crying, it just makes my eye water :)) Afterwards we went to Costa Coffee for lunch :)... and we took another picture - this picture is really funny! haha ! :)

So... Adam & I didn't really get anything for each other for Christmas... It was kinda crazy... you know... Getting checked into the hospital in October... having Aashini November 7... then staying in the hospital for a while.... going home... learning how to be parents (starting to learn anyway :))... going BACK into the hospital for over a week AND for Christmas.... Needless to say, we didn't really spend the time to buy each other anything.... sooo ... we went to the mall the other day to get an inflatable bathtub for Aashini for traveling. We now have a mall on our side of town!! It's great! (before, we would have to drive at least an hour to get to a mall) :) So, Adam found something he wanted, and I found something I wanted... so we decided we should get them and call them Christmas presents - haha ! (any excuse to buy toys - haha !). This is what Adam got: A wiffle ball set! whoo hoo !!! I got a bracelet: So when we were buying Aashini's tub we decide...

It has been HOT!! Two weeks ago, it got up to 125 a couple of days! It has been realllllly hot! Then, all of a sudden, we had a "cool front". It was 100-105 every day and it really felt cool outside - yes, I know, crazy hunh? THEN..... yesterday and today is RAINED!!! It has felt GREAT!!! Here's a pic of what our street looked like when it rained yesterday :) On another note... WE NOW HAVE A MICROWAVE!!! When we lived in M-town, our kitchen was small and could only have an oven or a microwave - so we ended up getting an oven... Some of our good friends just moved back to the states, so we bought their microwave from them (thanks J&K!). The problem is, we haven't had one in 2 years, so we sort-of forgot how to use one :) haha! no, I didn't put a metal cup in the microwave :) (I did remember about that) but for our first use of the microwave, Adam tried to pop a bag of popcorn and really burnt it (that's why there's that nice brown spot on the back)......
