Road Trip #6... DISNEY!

Road trip #6 started off with a visit to Adam's mom, then a trip to Disney, Visiting friends, and then ended with a visit to Adam's dad. Our friends got us a Disney park-hopper pass for the day and it ROCKED!!! We started off at Animal Kingdom. We hadn't been there in 5 years or so, so it had changed lot. It was a lot of fun! Their South Asia area of the park is so authentic that I thought I was there! Next we went to the Magic Kingdom :) Aashini started that park off with a nice nap :) We weren't sure if Aashini was going to enjoy herself or not. We went into a 3D show and she was a little scared (it was loud and it involved water spraying on you and air blowing in your face)... but she loved it!!! At one point we took her to a place where she could crawl around :) We just HAD to get her a Mickey hat.... with her name on it ;) We like to get her things with her name on it since there aren't many things that will ever come with her name on it :) We met s

Road Trip #6....

So where were we this weekend during road trip #6?? Here's a hint...

Playin!

Just a fun pic of Aashini (and Adam) playing at the park :) And..... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAYANK!!

Road Trip #5... Getting Older...

I'm 30!! yeah... that's right - THIRTY!! Whoa! I'm not quite sure what to say about that... My birthday was a couple of days ago, bu we were out of town, so we celebrated it when we got back home last night. My mom made her YUMMY strawberry cake - it's sooooo good! This past week we were in Valdosta, GA at a conferece. One of the days, the family we were staying with took us to this cool park. At the park, you could walk through the wetlands on a boardwalk - it was so neat! The boardwalk was super low to the ground, so we were really close to the Aligators! One tim, Adam made a sound and there were two gators there that flipped out and kind-of jumped out of the water! It scared us all a lile bit! At the end of the walk way, there was a big tower you could climb up and see for miles! It was really cool! Here we are on the tower :) We've already had 5 road trips and 3 airplane trips... and the next road trip is this weekend... Man, I'm tired!!

Fun Friends :)

Since we've been in America, we've gotten to see a lot of fun friends! Before we left for Virginia, we got to see Reba & Joe (above) and just yesterday we got to see our friend Aaron and her cute kids. Both Reba & Aaron were my bridesmaids and Aaron's husband Jason (who is at flight school right now) was Adam's bestman... It was a lot of fun catching up with them!!! Aashini had fun playing with Hannah :) And a couple of pictures left over from our Virginia trip... There were some fun inflatable games they had for us at the end of the week :) Here is a pic of me getting beat up by an elementary school girl :) Adam got really beat up :) haha!

Virginia (AirplaneTrip #3)

We're here in Virginia for a conference ;) We're having a great time getting to see friends from all over and meeting new friends :) We had a "woman's night" last night, so we got to dress up... Here's a pic of Susan and I... And one of Me and Sara :) (did I use proper grammar there? That stuff always confuses me... "me and Sara" or "Sara & I" haha!) We got to bring "home" our fun dress-up stuff... So Aashini got to dress up (while wearing her PJs) :) Doesn't she look glamorous? (notice that she's on her tip-toes... her favorite spot)... I also got to see my friend Deanna . We met each other the last time we were in Virginia, but have become much better friends over the years, so it was fun to get to see each other and meet each other's little girls :) Abby is cute isn't she?? Now for these pictures below.... Let's just say that both Scott & Adam had both been traveling all day with childre

Beach Weekend ;) (Road Trip #4)

This weekend we went on a relaxing trip to the beach. We're traveling sooo much, so it was nice to be able to just sit and relax. We went to St. George Island. It's an awesome island that's only about 2 hours from Tallahassee. My mom's boss had a wedding there on Saturday, so we all went and spend the weekend there at a friend's beach house ;) In the pic below you can see one of Aashini's top teeth. Her 4th tooth came in this weekend! The moon was really cool and a little orange while we were there - it was cool :) People also didn't have lights on on the outside of their beach houses so that the sea turtles wouldn't be confused, so it was really dark and you could see a lot of stars! Aashini had a lot of fun :) It was a little chilly at the beach, but still Aashini went in the water a few times - she loved it... until she got cold :) On Saturday, Aashini fell asleep on the beach :) It was cute :) Here she is making her "fish face" It wa
