We haven't been in town for the last few years for Thanksgiving...(we were in the mountains... to see those posts, click HERE ).... but this year we were!  We celebrated with folks that live in our city, and folks that live somewhere else and came in town for the weekend :) The kiddos had fun playing at the park :)  The guys played some football :)  ...American Football :)  (it's American Thanksgiving so you have to have some sort of American Football right? :) haha!) We had TONS of food!   This was just the dessert table!  Here are some folks eating...  Here's the "kids table"  :) haha!!  It was a fun Thanksgiving! :)

This year for Thanksgiving we went to the Mountains again :)  Our train was 3 hours late leaving... so we spent some time in the train station before getting on the train :)  BUT...we made it!!  The air was clean & cool, the sky was blue, the water was awesome... it was fun an relaxing!   We had lots of opportunities to hang out with friends and play!!  Here is a pic of a fun game of Frisbee Golf :)  And of course, a Thanksgiving Day Football game!  Here we are eating our Thanksgiving meal :)  It was super fun :)  We went on a safari one day.  We were looking for tigers.  We never saw one, but we saw lot of tiger tracks!  In this pic you can see tiger tracks AND peacock tracks! :)  We stopped at a little store in the middle of the safari (that was surrounded by an electric fence!) and when we got out of our jeeps, the monkeys came running in and looked for things to take!  One monkey...

We have some super fun friends that live in our city. They knew we (as well as a few other friends) missed the traditional Thanksgiving meal, so they cooked one for us! (How cool is that!). So last week (I think it was last week... my weeks are starting to run together) we all got together and had a fun Thanksgiving meal. I contributed my mom's famous yeast rolls (that I didn't give justice, but they were still pretty good)... and I made the first Apple Pie I've ever made... It was OK, but it looked pretty :) haha! We played a little Wii (even Diya played :) haha!) The girls had fun together too :) Thanks B & K-Rob for the fun Thanksgiving! :)

We spent Thanksgiving in the mountains this year on the retreat! It was great! This picture below is the only family picture we got on the trip :P oops :) haha! We did a lot of fun Thanksgiving traditional things and some untraditional things :) We had a fun field day! Our team - the Dilli Pickles - did great! We had a lot of fun :) Here's Adam in the races :) We did Dizzy Bat too... my least favorite! haha! It's soooo fun to watch though :) haha! Water Balloon Toss!!! We also did a lot of other fun races (like a rice sack race, tug-o-war, crab-crawl races, etc!) We ended the day with some flag football :) (notice the elephant in the background!) Go Adam Go!!! For dinner the hotel knew it was a special holiday for us, so instead of making more yummy South Asian food, they decided to make a "special meal" for us. They were sooo excited to tell us about the special meal. They made us Chinese food and Fish! haha! It was pretty good :) The folks that came fro...
